Homes by Hawk’s founder, Buzz Busby, always had a natural talent to work with his hands. Even as a child, he knew he’d spend his life creating, building, and crafting things into pieces that people will truly appreciate. Now as the business owner, Buzz takes seriously his ability to sit with his customers, listen intently to what they want, and then turn those conversations into exactly what they envision. It is a rare gift he has: to take what his client dreams of, even it’s only with just a few pictures on a phone, and turn it into a real manifestation. Buzz believes to the very core of his being that God created each one of us with a special skill set, certain talents that are meant to be shared with the world, to help others. Designing and constructing homes is his gift.
From the beautifully designed, handcrafted bar in downtown Sioux Falls, to the custom built home for a family with special needs, to using his unique ability to think outside of the box for the kids’ tree house or an outdoor entertainment area in your backyard, Homes by Hawk can take an idea from a drawing on a napkin and craft it into a reality. Each piece Buzz and his team work on – be it a garage, a house, or an entire commercial building – is a point of pride and joy for Homes by Hawk. Buzz and his team take you in, treat you like family, and then watch the entire project closely from start to finish, “like a hawk.”
